Jennifer Raper MA (Hons) MA
I am a psychotherapist in training, at an advanced stage of my MSc and Clinical Diploma in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy.
In addition to my MSc Psychotherapy training, I have undertaken professional training in areas including personality disorders, domestic violence, self-harm and suicidality, diversity and mental health. Non-clinical qualifications include an undergraduate degree (MA Hons) in modern languages and postgraduate degree (MA) in sociolinguistics and cultural identity.
The philosophical and theoretical principles which I draw upon in my work as a psychotherapist are based on the humanistic and essentially integrative values of Transactional Analysis. Underpinning my work with counselling and psychotherapy clients is the belief that human beings are inherently relational, co-operative, growth-seeking and with a natural aspiration towards autonomy
